Honda 2 Wheelers India — Being harassed and provided poor quality service | |
I bought a honda bike with engine no MC56E-A-0020375 in January 2021 from Krishnanagar, Nadia. My bike broke down and failed to start in mid June 2021. I took it to the nearest dealer (Star Honda, Krishnanagar) where they said that it was a battery issue and they had replaced the battery within warranty and there wont be any further problem. I informed them that my transfer was due on the next month and they reassured me that there wont be any problem. i got transfered to Kharagpur in July 2021 and shifted from Krishnanagar in the first week of August 2021. On 2 nd week of September the new bike broke down and failed to start again. I took it the nearest dealer ( Baba Honda, Kharagpur) where they informed me that the battery that is installed in my bike is a stepney battery and of less capacity than the bike's actual requirement. I contacted the previous dealer where they admitted to their mistake after getting caught red handed . They asked me to go back to krishnanagar some 300km away and receive my battery which is now with them. I asked them to courier my battery which they are refusing even after commiting such a blunder. I am going through this inconvenience since then which is affecting my personal and work life. I have lodged complaint(Complaint no being:1-[protected]) with Honda thrice but there has been no proper response. I feel helpless with the kind of service provided by Honda for a new bike which did not even complete 9 months. Was this information helpful? | |
