Dear Honda Team
I would like to escalate a very serious issue am going through with respect to the car (captioned in the subject line) I had purchased from Magnum honda showroom Bangalore in 2018. It's been a terrible experience right from purchase and until very recently I came across another unthinkable issue that got cropped up...See note below..!
I was stopped by a cop as a random check and he had identified that the CAR RC carried a different Engine & Chassis number….I reported this to Mr. Ajay from Magnum honda, Bangalore, and literally, I had to wait for months to get the action moving. Finally, I was called for a car inspection at the RTO office couple of months back and the inspector took clear note of the changes. The incharge who was referred by Ajay told me that everything is sorted and I will get the corrected RC in two weeks' time.
Ajay called me last week and told me to bear some hidden cost that I need to pay for the RTO inspector for which I clearly denied stating it was not my mistake and instead Magnum honda should take the responsibility of managing this. He then sends me a message (attached screenshot). Stating I need gpay Rs.2000/- to the incharge as a bribe amount or else the whole process will get delayed.
What's really happening with Honda?? Is this how the reputation of Honda is being built? One end asking for a bribe amount from the customer and secondly threatening me to pay or the RC correction will get stopped.
This is seriously a crime...Where should i further escalate this incident about Mr. Ajay...
I need my corrected RC and Magnum honda is accountable for putting me in such a situation...
