Honda — Honda Car India not able to repair my car from last 2.5 months and right now they want more 6 months

I am writing to seek your legal assistance and guidance regarding an ongoing issue I am facing with the repairs of my car, Honda City ZX with registration DL3CCL9310, which is under my cousin brother's name, Mr. Shoaib Khan. The matter pertains to damages caused due to water ingress during heavy rainfall, subsequent insurance claim, and the prolonged delay in repairing my car at the Ring Road Honda service center in Gurugram.
On the fateful day, while I was driving my car amidst heavy rain, water seeped into the vehicle due to waterlogging on the roads, causing significant damage. The car broke down near Gurugram, and as a result, I contacted my insurance company, Bajaj Allianz, to initiate a claim. Bajaj Allianz provided me with free roadside assistance, and my car was towed to the nearest Honda service center, Ring Road Honda, Gurugram, on 29th June 2023.
Since then, my car has not been repaired, and the service center has cited unavailability of a crucial part, the SRS unit (Safety Restraint System), as the reason for the delay. This unit is covered under my insurance policy. The service center informed me that this part is not available globally and may take an estimated additional 6 months or even longer to arrive. Unfortunately, they did not provide any written confirmation regarding this timeline.
Due to the non-functioning airbag system caused by this missing part, my car is unsafe to drive, which has significantly disrupted my daily life. I have been forced to rely on public transportation, incurring substantial expenses of around Rs.[protected] daily. Moreover, I have already lost 2 months of insurance coverage for my car due to this delay.
Despite my attempts to seek resolution, my communications with both Honda's customer service (via email and their helpline number 121) and Ring Road Honda's body shop manager, Mr. Ashu Sehgal, have been met with irresponsiveness and lack of concern. This prolonged negligence by the company has caused me immense frustration, financial burden, and emotional distress.
I kindly request your legal expertise to address this matter on my behalf. I believe that Honda bears the responsibility to ensure the timely availability of parts for their products, especially when it impacts the safety and well-being of their customers. I seek compensation for the expenses incurred due to this situation and the distress caused.
I kindly request your guidance in drafting an appropriate legal notice to Honda, highlighting the situation, the inconvenience caused, and seeking compensation for my expenses, emotional distress, and the prolonged ordeal I have endured.
