Ibibo Group / Goibibo — Booking attempted for flight booking but transaction was shown to be unsuccessful and the amount got debited

On the night of 22nd July 2023 on the Goibibo mobile app I tried booking return flight tickets Kolkata to Vadodara but the transaction was shown to be unsuccessful, I tried the booking process twice through my Bajaj Finserv InstaEmi Card but the transaction failed both times( for the booking nos. GOFLDNTANDHPXSV11176 and GOFLDNTANDXH2FOJ8856. Later when I checked my Bajaj Finserv InstaEmi Card details it is shown that the amount of 31947.75 have been deducted twice( for the two failed transactions). Later I consulted customer care of both Goibibo and Bajaj Finserv, but they just went back and forth blaming the other, while I am the one stuck in the middle with everything to lose. What Bajaj will do is slap two unjust loan accounts against the failed transactions and debit monthly emi from my primary bank account as ECS Mandate for auto repayment was done beforehand, while I will be a sitting duck watching my hard earned money being scammed by a billion dollar corporation with not even a single booked flight ticket to show for myself. Rs.63896 is not a small amount earned by child's play it equates to one's monthly salary and some more. Such inept and incompetent customer is not expected from such deemed to be trustworthy companies. Providing quick dedicated resolution to the matter would go a long way in relieving the anxiety of the customers. Therefore it would be very much appreciated if I am refunded the amount deducted from my Bajaj InstaEmi account at the earliest to avoid any future inconvenience.

Been almost a week since the failed transaction but money is still not reversed back to my original mode of payment. The Goibibo Customer Support did contact with me, first they said the money would revert back in 2-3 days, then said 3-5 days, whereas now they are it would take upto 9-14 days to get the refund. While Bajaj Finserv have shown that the payment is successful from their end and have already booked 2 loan accounts for emi repayment for the 2 failed transactions [ Transaction Id : CS[protected] & CS[protected]].
