Let me give you some background along with my worst experience with third-party services.
I am Pooja Rajput from Melbourne Australia, came to India after 3 years to spend some quality time with my family members for a month. Booked urgent flight tickets for 25th June 2022, at 3:10 PM from Dehradun to Mumbai. Unfortunately, i faced technical difficulties while booking the tickets. Your gateway which connects to the flight portal was not working in the best condition, as i selected the date 25 June, it was getting auto changed to 25th July. I had to add the details 6 times to book one ticket, 6th time when the ticket was booked the date was again updated to 25th June, post-booking when we reached airport on 25th June, airport authority said that your ticket is booked for July. My entire family of 6 Adults was waiting outside Jolly Grant Airport in this Heat like a Homeless person until I was explaining this to you goibibo customer service support.
I did not receive any positive response from your team as expected as i am a first-time user. In Australia we do not have a culture to record anything, they believe in their customers and support in every means, but it seems not the same everywhere.
We had to book urgent tickets by Paying 15, 000 per person at the airport as we had to cut off from our 15 days Family Trip and reach Mumbai to attend to a sad demise in my immediate family.
My only expectation from Goibibo is to reimburse my full refund and cancel the trip as it is of no use now. The purpose had not been served.
As a valued multi-national company you should assist genuine customers and understand their issues. You can only earn trust from customers if you support them and keep them happy, once your name is shamed then your reputation will be impacted.
I was also advised that for a refund we cannot promise but will give a call back in 24 hours, which i haven't received. I called back your customer support had to explain the same problem the 14th time since yesterday and the response was i will email to the supervisor to call you back and the call was closed.
This is the pathetic experience i am getting from your company, no one is responsible and no one cares about the customer's emotions.
PLEASE REFUND IN FULL - 37 THOUSAND RUPEES, AS I HAD TO PAY NEARLY 70 THOUSAND FOR TICKETS BECAUSE OF YOUR TECHNICAL GETAWAY GLITCHES.
ON TOP OF THAT YOUR TEAM IS NOT READY TO ACCEPT THIS TECHNICAL FAULT, THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER TRUST HERE.
WHERE THERE IS NO TRUST THERE IS NO SCOPE FOR THE FUTURE SUCCESS.
