Ibibo Group / Goibibo — refund for my reschedule/cancellation of flight amidst covid-19

I have been facing continuous roadblocks in getting my refunds processed by indigo airlines.

For pnr#qhzbts i rescheduled the flight from 14th march to 11th april amidst covid-19 on 9th march.

I have not got refund either in my personal account or travel partner account. For above pnr i have again changed my journey from 11 april to 30th may

Below is the confirmation from airline i received

“kindly intimate the below email to your agency as a proof of refund from our side as there is no transaction id generated in case of agency refund.

With reference to your email, we would like to reiterate you that under pnr - qhzbts, refundable amount of inr 1660 on 10th march 2020 and inr 1598 on 30th march 2020 has already been refunded to your travel agency account which was used originally at the time of reservation.

Kindly get in touch with your travel agency "ibibo group pvt ltd" to claim the refund.

Further more, this is the maximum information we can provide you in this regards as we have received the booking payment through the agency mode only and refunded the refundable amount to the agency. We are hopeful that you will understand the need for our policies and see this matter in the right spirit.

Recently my pnr was cancelled due to covid-19 lockdown extension. I got mail from airline that full amount is refunded and is stored which can be reused within one year of travel.

To support the country in its fight against covid-19, and to comply with the government regulations on extended lockdown, all flights have been suspended till 31st may 2020.

While you stay home safe, your booking remains safe too, in the form of a credit shell against your pnr-qhzbts. You may use this amount any time within one year from the date of issuance for the same passenger (S) mentioned in the pnr.

You can redeem the credit shell on our website or mobile app.

Goibibo deducted the charge and refunded me remaining amount. This is high level of false play.
