Sir/Madam,
I had booked two tickets through Go Ibibo app from on SpiceJet 438 flight for Mumbai-Gorakhpur sector of 30th March 2020. This Flight was cancelled under Lockdown orders by Central Govt. Travelling was banned during the Corona Pandemic Period from March 23, 2020, onwards.
I tried to cancel these tickets through the App but could not be cancelled due to refusal from SpiceJet Airline for longer period.
I communicated with the Spice Jet Airline who on my request Cancelled the ticket PNR IGFDJX and refunded the amount of Rs. 5356/- on 14th April 2021 & ticket PNR EHHIGE and refunded the amount of Rs. 5356/- on 26th April 2021. This refunded amount was received by Go Ibibo and shown in the APP.
The APP showed that Rs. 5356/- in each case was received and has been processed in Goibibo goCash o[censored]ser (me); However, my gocash balance was not added with these amounts of Rs. 5356/- both times. My goCash account is NIL even now.
I have tried to transfer these refunds to original payment mode using the option of “TRANSFER REFUND” shown in the APP under My TRIPS Section. It never worked. Every time I was directed to CHAT session. In Chat session too I received only one reply for all my queries to resolve through My Trip section using the APP.
I tried to reach Customer Care No but many times I could not connect to it and on the occasions It was connected I was answered by machine who advised me to resolve it through APP.
So, the fact is that I have not received the refund of the Cancelled Tickets even after 16 months.
In the circumstances stated above I request you to kindly Refund me the amounts of two cancelled tickets without any further delay.
