ICICI Bank — CIBIL status not updated even after paying the whole amount | |||
During some financial crisis in[protected] I settled my cards and loans in lesser amounts with ICICI and the CIBIL was updated as usual. In 2014 i started to pay the waived off amount as discussed with the ICICI guys to get the cibil updated to normal i.e. the settled comment to be removed. I made a payment for [protected] for 11803 Rs. last year.Today I pulled out my CIBIL report and I can see that the payment was received by the bank on 22 Dec 2014 but the status is still shown as settled. I have been following up with the bank and in April 2014 they said it has been updated. Email from bank: [protected] Dear Mr. Saxena, We understand your concern. With reference to your complaint SR[protected], we confirm you that as on April 24, 2015 necessary updation has been done at CIBIL towards your credit card account.
