[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Credit Card Closure | |||||
I would like to inform that it all started in the month of July. I requested for NOC for my credit card as I am not using it for a long time. I requested to payoff the call in 3 easy installments to pay INR 23999, which were due in July. I received a call that your request for 3 EMI has been rejected by the bank as your car loan is also running with the bank smoothly and your have to pay the amount in 2 EMI. So the executive gave me a jazz. But I said ok I said ok and asked them to call next day to discuss on Saturday. But few hours later, I received the call that INR 15000 have been taken from the account where we initially deposited that amount when we took the car through them and they offered us a credit card. Some time ago, we were informed that our card is blocked. But the harassment part is they are still adding interest every month even on the blocked card which is not the way and against the logic. So, I have spoken to them numerous times that as your executive promised that pay in two installments and closed the credit card account. They are calling once in a while but whenever I tell them about the situatin that your executive made the promise and I am ready to pay you remaining INR 9000, they tell ok you will get a call and all that false promises. Now they are forcing to pay INR 18000 after adding interest on daily basis. I am fed up of the this worst bank I could say for them. I have already told them I will not pay INR 18000 but they are not calling for the settlement. It was my biggest mistake that I started a relationship with the bank.
