ICICI Bank — Electricity Bill not accepted as address proof | |||
I have recently moved to Viman Nagar, Pune and my company offered me to open a Salary account with ICICI bank. The agent has visited the office thrice and I have discussed with him the documents I can provide. Everytime he has changed telling me that this document is not accepted anymore, we have changed the policy recently. I offered to provide telephone bill, Electricity bill even my 3 months bank statement with stamps on it and he wouldn't accept anything. My passport has a address which was a temporary one, I don't even live in that city anymore. How am I suppose to provide any other proof when I don't have any. I have a permanent address where my family lives and my passport mentions my parents names. I have a pan card with my photo on it and still these documents aren't enough. I am really disappointed with the behaviour of the agent, none of the other bank agents have behaved this way with me when I had to open an account with them. More than 25 people in my company has a salary account with ICICI and only I can't have one because the electricity bill is not a good enough address proof. This has put me off from ever engaging in any kind of relation with this bank. Thank you ICICI! Was this information helpful? | |||
