ICICI Bank Home Loan — Emi charged twice

I have a home loan with icici bank and and have been paying my emi on a regular basis for more than 10 years, unfortunately on one of the occasion the ecs was declined because my salary was not credited on time, however i made sure that payment should be made asap therefore i issued a chq of rs 7, 754 and went to the bank to deposit it on 17-2-17.

On the[protected] the chq was cleared and the payment was made towards my home loan, but to my surprise there was another transaction by the bank on the[protected] via ECS, and another amount of rs 7, 754 was debited from my account.

The second transaction was actually not required and it only reflects huge internal communication gap between departments, moreover it not only shows of mismanagement functions of various departments but also the unethical approach towards customers.

Last but not the least, the behavior of the staff is not taking any ownership and responsibility as they say there are not responsible for what has happened and i can do whatever i want. This statement was given by the collection department of the company.

I understand, to debit customers account without their consent is completely unauthorized, illegal and unethical practices by the company.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ICICI BANK TO ANY ONE IN FUTURE, RATHER I WILL SOON TRANSFER MY HOME LOAN TO ANOTHER BANK.
