ICICI Bank — ICICI BANK not closing account even after submitting hard copy of A/c closing form at base branch | |||
I was having an Salary bank account (A/c No :[protected] with ICICI bank Haridwar branch: Address : 7c Avas Vikas Delhi Haridwar Road 249407 ) I put a request to close my bank account through customer care but they denies, So i go to my base branch as well i put and fill the hard copy for account closure form on 21.12.2013. just a day before i also visited the same bank for the same reason, but they told me transfer of money will take time, so next day i transfer the money to my other bank account through net banking, and on 21.12.2013 i submit the hard copy for account closure. now i got some information about the civil report, it shows ICICI bank start imposing penalty to me on the basis of same ICICI account. Account balance is shows ZERO on net banking and checked through customer care as well as . Then how this "-" negative balance comes, Instead of closing the account after my request. ICICI now charged me. Account balance is already ZERO. and still today on 19.01.2015 it shows account balance as ZERO "0". so how ICICI bank doing this without showing info to customer not even any email or phone or SMS intimation to the customer. I have all the records what ICICI bank is doing without informing me about the deduction or make it as "-" negative balance it's around 5000 "-5000 Rs" (Negative 5000rs). Surely i will not pay this amount. I have following reasons for not to pay this amount:- * I informed the bank through customer care to close the account. But bank denying this mode of information. Why? * I Submit the hard copy of closure form at my base branch. * I was not informed before imposing penalty at me. I suppose customer should have been intimated before imposing any penalty so that he should take my decision? * This bank base branch should inform the customer about the status.
