[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Icici bank processed credit card application with my knowledge

Hi, Few days back I received a mail from Icici bank on my office email ID that I have submitted a application for a credit card and asked me to click on confirm, which I don't. I ignored that mail as i did not applied for it but suddenly after 7 or 10 day I received another email from the bank that my Credit card application has been declined as per the documents submitted my myself. THIS WAS REALLY SHOCKING FOR ME. WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE HOW COME ICICI BANK HAVE APPLIED CREDIT USING MY ACCOUNT . I have never ever applied for the credit card with Icici bank nor I have provide any authorization . Though I have a person account with Icici . But I never requested for a credit card. I am very FRUSTRATED with this. Now as they declined that unwanted application which effected my Cibil credit score as well. I am planning to lodged a written complaint against ICICI bank that they had applied an application without my knowledge.
