[Resolved] ICICI Bank — MAB charges issue | |||
I am Saliha Nasline, Journalist with a leading English newspaper. I have taken an ICICI womens' account (No:[protected] three years back for some savings. I have joined RD of Rs 2, 000 every month so that I need not to keep minimum balance of Rs 10, 000. I have closed the RD after few months for personal use and again started in January 2014 for the same cause. The thing is I'm not complaining the bank for deducting MAB charges, but I don't know why the bank has been deducting the MAB charges of Rs 393.26 of previous years this year. For example, in my case the bank has deducted the December 2013 MAB charges in January 2014 and October 2012 and November 2012 MAB charges (393.26+393.26) on February 24, 2014. This is so annoying that the bank deducting charges in inappropriate time that too when I'm financially tight. I request you to help me to know proper reason for that or refund if possible. First of all I had an email a week after I have put complaint in Consumer Complaints forum. And the bank officials from my branch (ICICI Chembumukku Branch, Kochi) has called me personally to solve the problem. They have said that the deductions were due to some system error. Thanks to the forum and the bank to respond immediately. ICICI Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
