[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Not giving my money back | |||||
The concern was that, from Pockets app on June 18, 2015, I was redeeming a coupon of an amount of Rs. 2515 in my savings ICICI bank account no.[protected] but mistakenly the last digit of the account was mistyped and the coupon amount was redeemed in account no.[protected] that does not belong to me. I have entered my name (RAHUL SHARMA) along with that account number in the input field that clarifies that I have not redeemed the coupon for that wrong account number[protected]. For this, I contacted the ICICI bank customer many times. Even they ask me to submit an indemnity on 100 Rs. stamp paper stating that after debiting money from wrong beneficiary only I will be responsible for any kind of claim by wrong beneficiary not the bank. But in spite of this, ICICI bank has not refunded my money. Every time they say that the wrong beneficiary is not contactable and he has not used his account from long time and is not contactable as well. So we can not debit the amount without the permission of customer.
