[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Payment not received | |||
While transferring funds to my friend's ICICI account[protected] from my ICICI account[protected] on 24th of Dec 2014, I mistyped the bank account number and it got transferred to a wrong account, which is inactive for more than a year and the man can't be located. I contacted the bank for the same issue and they provided me with the address of the wrong recipient, which was incorrect. It has been 7 months since the complaint made. I have written multiple emails to the bank branch, even to CEO Chanda Kocchar's desk, made multiple rounds to the bank. Even after confirming from the police station that the man is no longer available at the given address, phone number and all his other details with the bank are invalid and his account remains inactive for more than a year now, the bank is not agreeing to return my money, which is a huge amount of Rs.60000. The person from the CEO desk is Chandramouli - Senior Management Desk, who again redirected the entire matter to the local bank branch deputy manager Mr. Sandip Desai (his mobile number [protected]) Was this information helpful? | |||
