ICICI Bank — Reimbursement issue due to failed ATM Transaction | |||||
This is to bring to your notice that I had tried to withdraw an amount of Rs 900 from Bank of Baroda ATM University Road Rajkot and Rs 1800 from Bank of Baroda ATM University Road Rajkot on the same date i.e 10Th August 2013. However the transaction failed and the cash could not be dispensed. My bank statement of ICICI Account No.[protected], ICICI Bank, Nana Mahuwa Road, Rajkot shows two debit entries of Rs 900 and Rs 1800 whereas no cash was dispensed due to a failed Bank of Baroda ATM Transaction. The matter was raised to both the parent bank i.e ICICI and the dispensing bank i.e Bank of Baroda however no action has been taken from their end till now. The bank authorities have clearly communicated their inability to refund back my amount. Having seen the inability of both the banks to respond and look into my issue, I am writing to the supreme authority i.e The Banking Ombudsman RBI to look into my complaint and provide me a solution.
