@rahulyahoo's - I had submitted the KYC documents at Pune Aundh Branch of ICICI way back in 2016. The officer who collected the docs from me was Mr. Kapil Dhotre. He confidently said that no acknowledgement will be given and rest assured it will get processed. A few months later you blocked the account stating that the KYC is not done.
Your KYC process & the electronic system that tracks the KYC is faulty. As even other customers seem to have raised a concern on this forum, I thought of sharing my previous similar experience.

Yes I have experienced same problem with ICICI Bank. It was a joint account and they asked for KYC of second holder. Upon submitting the form and documents, they did not give any acknowledgement and after a few months blocked the account stating that KYC is not done.
You are not alone. This is ICICI Bank's habitual behavior.
