Icici Lombard — Genuine cashless request REJECTED! | |||||
ICICI Prudential UHID :[protected] ICICI Prudential Policy number : 4128I/IHPR/[protected]/01/000 AL Number :[protected] We have ICICI Prudential health insurance for the last 1.5 years. On 10th June my wife was admitted to KMC in Mangalore for Knee paid due to bacterial infections (This disease is termed as "REACTIVE ARTHARITIS"). Please note that this is not the general artharitis that come at old age. The hospital has provided all the necessary documentation to start the cashless hospitalization process. To my surprise the cashless request was rejected and the only reason mentioned was as it is artharitis (ICICI Lombard completely ignore the word REACTIVE there). We repeatedly tried to send the clarifications, but even after that it was rejected with reason being ARTHARITIS is not covered within 2 years. I checked their exclusion list, Artharitis is listed but not REACTIVE artharitis. These two are not the same. If Reactive artharitis is not covered they need to mention that in the exclusion list. They are keeping the exclusion list in a general way to turn the rejection in their favour. As a customer who is paying them 20, 000 Rupees premium per year, I expect them to show in the exclusion list WHERE IS REACTIVE ARTHARITIS. Because of their rejection I had to bear the cost of entire hospitalization which amounted upto 68327--/-- rupees. I am being cheated by ICICI Lombard in this case and I need justice and compensation from them. Was this information helpful? | |||||
