ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — Fraud call about ICICI Prudential Life Insurance

Dear Team,

I (Atul Salvi) received a call today 28th Sep 2023 around 12:45 PM. They told me that I have removed on ICICI life insurance policy on 31st March 2014 which was about to matured on 31st March 2024. However, this policy is cancelled as only one premium of 50000 was paid by me where I was about to pay total 5 premium.

They asked me reason as why I have not paid the remaining premium amount was there any financial issue or there is no proper communication from ICICI team in following up.

Also, when I said due to financial issue, I have not paid other premium's they gave me options as this policy can be activated, so asked them to mail my earlier policy details but they said that mail is not updated and as it is in cancellation mode, we cannot update it. So, I asked to provide me my policy details on phone and what will be the procedure to reactivate policy and how much premium I have to pay. So below are those details.

Policy Number:[protected]st March 2014 to 31st March 2024)

Policy Name: Life stage assured regular tax saving plan.

Policy term: 10 years

Paid one time premium: 50000 (Current value is 1.74 lac)

For activating policy below are 2 options:
1) Revival plan: In this I have to pay 2 lakh my remaining premium + 30000 late charges and there will be some locking period then I will get return of around 8 lacs
2) Settlement: In this I have to go for settlement amount for my policy where I have to pay 1 lakh + 10000 late charges and within 90 days I will get amount of 324760/-

And if am not activating any of above options then policy will get lapsed, and I will get only 10% of my 1st premium paid i.e. I will receive 5000/- Rupees.

This is proper Fraud call as I am not having any ICICI life insurance policy. I am raising this to you to take action if any and others to aware about such frauds.
