[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — asking pay bill which I've already paid!

Sir/ma'am,

I'm an idea user with the number "[protected]". I've converted my idea post paid to prepaid on january 1st week 2018. As per the message received from idea, i've paid the last outstanding amount of rs. 108 on january 25th using their ivr options. Now, i received an email to pay a bill of rs 115.93/- on february 1st.

Idea customer care is unable to check the status since i'm converted to prepaid. They have given a number to call their postpaid support which can only be accessible if i call from a post paid number or bsnl landline. I don't have both the options. I can't check it from their website as i've converted to idea prepaid connection now.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you, that you've been charged accordingly as your previous bill amount has been carried forwarded in your current bill till the date of the disconnection. Also, as per our record, the payment for the mentioned amount isn't credited in your account. Hence, we request to check with your respective bank account or mode of payment through which you've done the payment as it get's reversed in your bank account. However, if the issue persist you can provide us the screen shot of the payment done along with the complete tansaction details & bank statement from the day of the payment to till date.

Hello,

As per the screenshot, you can see that I've received a message to pay Rs. 108.35/-. I tried paying using using various methods and didn't succeed. Finally, I called 121 and paid using the amount using the IVR option available to pay bills. As per the screenshots you can see that the amount debited from my bank and the IVR option confirmed the payment as well. What else you want me to provide now? It was done through Idea Customer care (121) bill payment option itsel[censored] Kindly check with your internal team and update me.

I paid the amount by giving my credit card details through Idea Customer care IVR (121).

Huh, idea reversed my amount and now I've to pay 116!! What a pathetic company it is. Have some shame!!!
