[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — automatic vas service activation, balance deduction and denial of conversation from customer care

Very horrible service. My idea number is [protected]. I received a surprise msg from idea saying that: "Dear customer, you have been charged Rs. 3.00 and your current balance is 9.09." at 20:15hrs on 10 Jul 18. Another surprise msg within few seconds: "Husband: Raja Dasrath ki 3 Raniya thi. Wife: To kya hua? Husband: To main 2 Shadiya aur kar sakta hu. Wife: Dropadi ka naam suna hai? Husband: Tu bhi pagli DIL pe leti hai."

What the hell it is? Without dialing any number or request code, how can you simply impose such kind of nonsense deductions? I never ever done this type of request for service activation in my usage history of any mobile. Why don't you have a pot and sit on the road for begging 3 Rs? Is this the way you earn from the users who doesnt pay you a lot on recharges?

Then, I called customer care on 12345 and by pressing some numbers on my basic phone and it said that you will be charged 0.50Rs for a minute for talking to customer care! Okay, no problem! The issue is not for mere 3.00 Rs. Its the issue about your forcefully imposed service activation on a customer without any request by customer and without any consent by customer and even, without dialling any request code at his end! And forget about internet web clicking as I am in defence and use a very basic Samsung mobile phone without camera and internet, strictly meant to talk officially to my co-workers. Any way, the customer care picked the call, i told about the problem.
To, my next surprise, he said that you have dialled *111# from your mobile!!! What the hell this was again? I said him politely that i never did this and also, i don't have any child in my family who could do with this basic phone! And, even i don't let anyone use my phone! And the last surprise was disconnection of support call from Customer Care end!! And again I got notification for deduction of 1 Rs, by the way, i didn't bothered about it because i had already accepted that and that was pre-known to me by a formal computerised warning just before connecting to the customer care representative!
So this was whole case!
I again say that this is not mere a case of 3.00 Rs, but this is a case of why they forcefully imposed a service to a customer like me who NEVER EVER did this type of Joke-Service activation request.
Now I want following action required to be completed from Idea Cellular Legal Office:

1. Provided me full explanation with proof (so that if i take up the case forward then I can use that as authority) why this happened, was there any technical fault or this is your new policy? And if this is your new policy of automatic deductions, then do you include this on your new Terms & Conditions?
2. Why your customer care refused to even listen my problem clearly? And why did he disconnected my call? I am paying service tax and per minute charge for getting customer service.
3. Refund me a compassionate amount for wasting my time, efforts and denial of customer service from your end including the original deduction of 3 Rs.

Sorry for my harsh language but there was no alternative option as i totally tired by your support and service.

Hence, we request you to send a SMS as STOP to 593350 to stop the flash SMS or else you can refer the below given steps to stop the flash service manually from your handset. For further assistance, kindly contact us on 12345 or 198.

Refer to the below given steps to deactivate the Flash SMS:-
- Go to your handset SIM Toolkit
- Click on Idea Flash option
- Tap on Activation
- Click on Deactivate
