[Resolved] Idea Cellular — being charged for texting[protected] this no. which I did not send | |||
I am nayan jain i have apple i phone 8 and i’ve recently ported my number from vodafone to idea. After that i’ve been charged for some international msgs which i did not send. It was told to me from idea office that this no. Is from UK When i told idea customer care about this and asked if any service is activated in my sim for which i am being charged, they told that no service is activated and i am sending those msgs. This is not possible because no notification is being shown in my phone for any such msg. And i dont even know anybody from UK. Idea customer care then told me to visit apple showroom if any service is activated. Apple customer care told me that there is a bond between apple and idea that 1 time charge of 5 rs is there for activation of i msg and facetime. I told this information to idea customer care but they are not ready to take any actions and are telling me that i’ve sent these msgs and i have to pay for it This is a fraud from ideacellular as they are not even willing to take any actions Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Jul 22, 2018 Idea Cellular Customer Care's response Dear Customer, Apologies for the inconvenience caused. As per our record, we have raised complaint for your concern and resolution is communicated with you that you've been charged at Rs.315/- for availing services of application for ie. imessege and facetime at Rs.5/sms for the mentioned number.
