My name is Mithun V and Our parents have shipped us some sweets/items via India Speed Post for my wife's baby shower ceremony and it was booked on 22/02/2022. My parcel has been showing "Send receptacle abroad (Otb)" since 27/02/2022.
This is totally unacceptable as our parents paid extra money to make sure the sent parcel will be prioritized and delivered within a maximum of 5 business days(as promised by our Tirupur Post Office). Those are snack items which won't survive longer and now it's sitting for not sure how long will it take before they send it and update to the next stage.
I'm very disappointed in this matter and request for a full refund. If it's a speed/Express post, there has to be contractual obligations, failing/ delaying that need to make sure, it has been informed appropriately. We already lost interest in getting them due to this unexpected delay and not sure in what condition they are going to be delivered.
It's been 3 years already since we visited India due to the pandemic and now facing this although we paid for it. Kindly look into this request and see what's happening and what best you can offer for delaying.
