India Post — Package stuck in New Delhi since Oct 12th, almost 2 months :(

I sent a package from California United States to India on October 7, 2021. The last tracking was in New Delhi on October 12th, 2021 and no one can seem to locate it. The U.S post office said it is out of their hands once it's in India and the receiver has tried to locate it there with no success. Can someone please help me?
