India Post — Very slow delivery of parcel

They call it speed post but they are always so slow in delivering parcels, I have been facing this problem everytime with India post and this time it's taking the longest, it's been almost two weeks and I still haven't received my parcel which is just few kilometres away from me, at this point I'm scared to send my parcels through India post, please make your delivery services better and be more responsive
