Indian Railway — Refund not Processed even after 1 month of TDR filing | |
Dear Sir,
I have applied for TDR 8 hrs before the train started from it's origin or 10 hours before the train departs from the boarding station. The ticket was partly confirmed and partly waitlist for Dhanbad Alappuzha Express (30 May 2015). Thus, I have applied the TDR for two persons whose ticket was not confirmed. We have informed the same to the TTE of AC 2 coach. The snapshot of the TDR status is attached.
It is also to inform that these two person Ms. Puja Rani Sinha and Ms. Shilpy Kumari has traveled in AC 3 as they got their tickets confirmed in AC 3 in same train. Copy of the confirmed ticket is also attached. Both the ticket in AC 2 as well as AC 3 has been taken from the same IRCTC account which justifies that both the tickets are of same person.
However, even after completion of 1 month, the TDR status is "CR Registered" whereas IRCTC has claimed that the refund process normally takes 7 days. The snapshot of the mail from IRCTC is also attached.
In view of the above, I request you to kindly release the full refund as soon as possible.
