[Resolved] Indian Railway — TRAIN CANCELLATION WITHOUT PRIOR INFORMATION | |||
The train 22829 bhuj-shalimar express cancelled on[protected] and we have confirmed tickets in ac III class which pnr number is[protected] which is booked through station window and we booked 2 more tickets from irctc. we were 10 persons who were going to shalimar with this train to attend my elder son's weeding function, but due to cancellation of train without prior information before 12 hours from train departure at our boarding station i.e. vidisha station and no message of cancellation was sent on our registered mobile number from irctc. we failed to attend the function and we have to suffer a lot to reach kolkata to attend the remaining functions. The information of train cancellation was not provided by any means of communication and even the cancellation information was not provided at vidisha station by the Station master itself (Mr. Niranjan) and enquiry officer when we were at station. The announcement of cancellation were made after we inquire about it. All this cause me a great loss of money as well as it mentally disturbed me. Therefore i want you to take strict action against this as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? | |||
