[Resolved]  Aegon Religare Life Insurance — Not refunding payment against an online policy that we rejected

Hi,
We applied for a term policy in my spouse's name (proposal no.[protected]. The on-call executive provided information and filled the form himself. We payed the amount Rs. 10414 on September 10, 2012. Then began a harrowing experience of poor customer service. They took their own sweet time to contact us back once the payment was made by us. They are not responding to emails until after 3-4 days. Finally, they give us counteroffer for a lesser sum assured than originally offered, stating the executive provided us wrong information.
Ultimately, we rejected the proposal and mailed our decision on October 10. One whole month went by and they were unable to communicate properly.
Now one week has gone by and they are responding regarding our refund.
Please guide what to do next. They are sitting on our money and earning interest whereas we are losing.

You have still not got amount credited to account and also not given the details of refunded amount and either.

Request to give the details as Mode of Refund, Date and Time.


Policy Number:[protected] done online transaction on 22nd October 2012 premium due of[protected].
I Request for Premium receipt on 26th Oct 2012.
Got email from "Nandita Dey" on Sat, Oct 27, 2012 at 9:42 AM giving premium receipt of Last year .
I Request for Premium receipt for this year on 27/10/2012 10:02AM.
Got a email from "Nandita Dey" on Oct 30, 2012 at 5:29 PM saying that we have refunded the amount on 25th Oct 2012.(Note this that I got the mail on 27th Oct 2012 from "Nandita" about "I would like to confirm that we have received your Renewal premium amount of Rs 15, 000/- for the due date 17/03/2012 on October 23, 2012 .")
I request for Refund Details on 31/10/2012 19:11.
Got a Phone call from "Jiten Rajput" on Nov 1, 2012 we had transferred the amount but didnt gave any details about the Refund mode. I asked for service request - he provided i.e.(ARL-969888-DWHHTM) and told will forward my query to concern department.
