I have invested rs.20000 in jiaprakash associated cumm. Fd vide fd receipt no. 00417083 and investor code 1250762 on 29.05.2013 and the fd maturity was on 29.05.2016. The same certificate duly discharged for maturity payment was submitted to the company through the broker m/s bajaj capital limited, patna vide their receipt no. 364860 dated 24.05.2016. Jaiprakash Associates Ltd.
This is in regard to the FD Repayments of M/s Jaiprakash Associates Ltd.
As per the previous CLB order, Jaiprakash Associates ltd was supposed to release FD payments by 30th june 2016, but the company has further taken extension upto 31st March 2017 to repay the dues aggregating Rs. 1079.31 Cr and interest thereof payable to the depositors.
The company has submitted that they have been trying hard to dispose of their assets namely 10 Cement Plants at various locations but that process is not yet complete and the company hopes that this would be over before 31st March 2017.
Though recently, Jaiprakash associates Ltd has finalized business deal worth Rs. 16, 000 crores with Ultratech Cement, which gives positive wibes that company will start releasing the payments to FD holders once the funds are received.
