Hi! I wanted to alert tourists about the karma group, they have loads of people working on the streets of calangute, baga, candolim beaches with scratch cards with free prizes, then they tell you that you will have to go to karma resort in baga, an average property, to claim the prize. They mention that it is a hotel promotion and all you have to do is look around the hotel. SCAM...they take you to the hotel where there is actually a business going on to sell the hotel membership for 9 lac over 25 years.. They try to pressure you to buy this over a 2 hour period, when you say you are not interested, they look down on you, and tell you to stay in cheap cottages b/c you don’t have money.
I would especially like to mention Deepankar, who made sure we have one harrowing experience there. Someone go tell him that there is a very fine line between being aggressive (in sales) and go under the belt. Definitely you are also misfit in a hospitality industry.
i was totally shocked that a hotel company can do such a thing!
