Karma Recycling — Received returned product with missing components | |||||
Order no. 8406aa0e. I gave my dell inspiron n5010 4gb laptop to karma recycling for purchase. The gave me a quote of 9800. They then picked it up and checked it after 15 days and gave me a quote of 4700, claiming it wasn’t powering on, charger not working, when it is working perfectly. I declined that offer and they returned it a week later by some third party courier company. On checking the laptop i realized that it was now only 2gb instead of the 4gb i sent. The screws from behind were missing and memory cover loose. They had never mentioned this after checking the product, except the previously mentioned issues. On contacting them the claimed it was a 2gb one since the beginning and had the audacity to ask me not to bother emailing them any more since they wouldn't reply. Contacted them again and then they claim that it was my laptop model that was a 2gb one, with a single ram slot, which i could verify with the dell company with my product number. On doing so i was told that my model has two slots with 2gb each. I tried reaching someone with higher authorities at the place but to no avail, there are several complaints regarding this companies malpractices and i would like some action taken and want my product fixed in its original condition.
