[Resolved]  Kent RO — I registered complaint on Kent official website but local technicians reached to fix RO and fitted old filters costing 4000

On 2/5/21, I launched a complaint on Kent official website about RO service. I got a call from the technician that he will reach my place between 1-2 pm but 2 people named Vansh and Gaurav came to my place within half an hour of the call i. e, around 12:30 pm.
Due to corona safety measures, I was wearing 2 n95 masks, face shield gloves, cap glasses etc and we kept a distance of 3 feet from those technicians.
We asked them to check the fault. They said filters are old and needs to be replaced. We told them to do the needful. Though our RO was in warranty but as Kent have a policy to only provide free service for in warranty products we were asked to pay for the filters so we gave ₹4000 to them and asked them to leave the receipt at kitchen slab and we will sanitize it later.
We asked them to show the working RO but they said since water tank filling will take an hour and we can not stay for this long due to other complaints. There is 3 month warranty on filters so you can call us any time. And they left our premises in hurry.
Within 15 minutes of their leaving our place, water started spilling from RO. We called Mr Vansh immediately and he said he will reach in 1/2 an hour and fix it. Half an hour passed but he did not appeared so I called Mr Vansh but he blocked my number. My brother called from his number, finding an unknown number That fraud technician picked the call and said he will come in next 15 minutes. But as expected he blocked my brother's number as well.
Till now we were not bothered about such idiotic behavior by those technicians Vansh and Gaurav because we knew that we will call Kent customer care and arrange another technician to fix the problem as many a times company technicians behave weirdly. But when we called Kent customer care they told us that they have not sent any technician.
Now we got alarmed that something wrong has happened. We narrated the entire incident to Kent branch manager sahibabad and he said this does not come under Kent's area of lookout as we have not sent any technician to you. But he arranged an original kent technician visit to our place on our request. Meanwhile, we called on the number mentioned on the receipt where a girl called akansha gave us Mr Mohit's number and told us that he will resolve our problem. We called Mr Mohit who on confronting admitted that he is not from Kent but a local RO service provider. We narrated the issue and asked him to fix it. He told us that he will come the next day.
Mr Mohit came and checked the RO and said a part needs to be changed to stop water leakage. As we knew he is fake we told him that we will think on it and call him if required.
Sometimes later that day, Kent original technician reached our house and checked the RO. He told us that the fraud technicians placed old filters of 2019 into our machine and water leakage was because they do not know how to fix the RO.

It seems that this fraud ro service center have two girls on customer care and 3 technicians.

Data was leaked from Kent site and these fraudulents are making fool of customers. They take away money and by the time lockdown is over in Delhi they flee.

Action should be taken on them immediately.
