We have purchased kent maxx uv water filter 10 months ago and had 8 service issues within that period. For recent service issue, we haven't received any help from kent or their associates despite following up several times on phone calls, emails, customer service site. They always told us the technician would be there at house tomorrow but they never show up. We have to go through the whole painful process of following-up with customer service, explain the situation and ask them to send a technician. They make unreasonable excuses (Saying our area is in no-go zone which is not true) to not provide technician help for our service request which has troubled us for more than 3 weeks and we still don't have drinking water in the house. They keep telling us another excuse that the water in our area is not of good quality hence the filter stops working, which is again not true. I can get a affidavit from city and town water supply departments to invalidate their claim saying "water in our area is not good quality".
We have been facing issues since the very beginning of this purchase,
1. We got a faulty product on our purchase which stopped working within 2 weeks of purchase & installation, we followed up with kent for a week to get it fixed.
2. The product hasn't worked well and gave issues very frequently, it has given us intermittent problems 8 times within a period of 10 months and we had to make service requests for all and received poor quality service.
3. We have spent a lot of time in followup, phone calls, emails and seeing through the repairs by technicians who are not well trained. We always received different recommendations from different technicians & customer care personnel on how to get the problem resolved, whenever we had these repairs.
This is unacceptable in terms of how kent runs their business or their products. Kent has sold us poorest quality equipment which has caused us so much headache, frustration and above all, drinking water problems.
We cannot tolerate this type of poor quality product or poor service and suffer with having basic necessities of life that is having access to drinking water. We want kent to replace this faulty sub-standard item that we have been tolerating and suffering for 10+ months dealing with it's countless issues with a good-quality product immediately.
