Dear LG Customer Care, I have two issues that i would like to bring to your notice. I need your help in resolving them or finding an alternate solution that would help me. I have an LG front loading washing machine (LG – TROMM, 2006 model) that needs a PCB replacement. The technician visited my house over two weeks ago (probably around Nov 18-19, 2014) and informed me that the washing machine needs a PCB replacement and that I would be intimated of the status of this complaint in the coming days. However, I have never been contacted by any service center or any technician ever since. I called up the concerned service center’s manager today and was informed that my complaint was closed on the 2nd of December as the part was not available. My First issue is that I was never intimated of this fact! I have been under the impression that I would be contacted and would be updated with the status! The complaint was closed with ever intimating me about its closure. There was a PCB replacement earlier for my washing machine on two occasions. I am now being informed that this PCB is not available anymore. What do I do in this situation? Can you kindly suggest me an alternate way to address this issue? Its just 8 years I purchased this machine, and its support is already being discontinued. My second issue is that i cannot be expected to buy a washing machine every few years. I cannot buy a new washing machine costing few tens of thousands just because its PCB is not available anymore. I sincerely need your assistance on this issue. Please help.
