Mahanagar Telephone Nigam [MTNL] — Fraudulent whatsapp message

I recieved a fraudulent whatsapp message asking for e kyc of my number else it will be suspended/blocked within 24 hours. I immediately reported and blocked that whatsapp number. However, after that message my sim shows unregistered on network and I can't make calls or send messages.
Please help resolve this issue. Thank you.

The number from which I got the whatsapp msg is [protected].
