I'd like to share my experience with the amt unit that's misbehaving on my new alto k10 amt. Let me present the facts first:

The car was bought in march 2016 and has completed its all free service. No major issues reported.

Now, to the actual point. Couple of days ago, the car suddenly came to 1st gear (As per the display) while driving at 8pm. The gear is not changing autumatically or manually. My self & my family with pregnant wife and 3 child was there in my car at that time

For road assistance i contacted popular vehicles calicut, kerala team, reply was shocked me, he said i can't able to do anything now, you need to bring the car to our workshop

I'm concluding, let it be very clear, i need a clarity on two things
1. Why this complaint happening in amt model, if amt is not working why should i can't move the gear to manual mode
2. What is the real purpose of your road assistance, why don't they are give an assistance in such a critical stage
