Micromax — Charging problems

I, Shabana Biswas purchased a new micromax charger to charge my mobile.When I plugged in the charger then it was working fine.But when I plugged in my mobile it stopped working and neither the mobile was working.Please repair my mobile Micromax canvas knight A120.
