Micromax — Handset issue | |||
Hi, I bought a Micromax A210 four months AGO, now all of a sudden it has started to switch off/restart on its own. We reached out to the nearest service centre, who suggested that it could be a software issue and advised updating the software (for which he connected the phone to his computer and did something) and said if still the issue persists, it would need to be sent to the service centre. Software updation did not help, when we approached them again, the guy claims that we cannot do anything as the phone has a few scratches and even if we send it to the service centre, they would return stating that this is physical damage. This is absolutely a lame excuse. Now, they have given us a replacement battery (not sure if it is new or used) to check if that is causing the issue, BTW the phone lasted for a few hours and then shutdown, also have noticed that the phone is heating up because of the replaced battery. I currently am an extremely disappointed customer, who has bought a product from Micromax and have to keep their products under observation with me, while they simply make false claims.
