Micromax — Handset q392 issue | |||||
Hi, I had purchased a Micromax Q392(Juice 3) handset on 15th December 2015. After using it for approximately a month, the phone stopped booting up. On my initial visits to the service center, the phone was never accepted for repair/inspection. I got excuses like the service center only processes 3 handsets a day. Sometime I was made to wait for at least an hour with no result in the end. Finally, with no other option in my hand, i called up their Customer Relations office in gurgaon. I was asked to give a visit to the service center and arrange a call between the two. On 21st January 2016 afternoon, after a call between the two parties in question(Service center and Micromax Customer relations office), i was provided with a job sheet for my handset. On my return from the service center, i got a call stating your phone's battery has damaged and we would be charging Rs 1100 to repair the same. I gave a call to the Customer Relations office again, explained them the scenario, arranged conference calls between the two parties but all in vain. Service center is claiming that there was an attempt to open up the battery(Q392 has a non removable battery) which i outrightly denied. No such attempt was made from my end and i stand firm on my words. Customer relations office argued stating that the repair is now out of warranty and you will have to pay the amount for repair. They had even committed of giving a call back from their senior folks but haven't received the same till now. Now the situation is, the handset is lying with the service center, Customer relations isn't providing any fruitful solution to the problem. I have already filled a complaint regarding the same on micare.micromaxinfo.com. Reference - SER[protected] Claiming to be a leader in indian market, i am shocked and surprised with the responses/excuses that these folks are providing. On top of this, a false blame that the device has been intentionally damaged by the customer.
