Micromax Informatics — Faulty phone

Dear Sir, I had purchased Yureka phone in Pune in Mar 2015. In after the upgrade it developed a problem of camera not working and not connecting to Wi-Fi.. Since it was in guarantee I went to your authorized service center in Pune on 14th Feb 2016. I should bring it to you kind attention the professionalism of your agents and also their approach towards their your customers. The following are the sequence of events (a) the moment i had shown my phone the service desk gentleman immediately told that the we do not provide the service here and you need to submit the phone and it will take it will take 20-25 working days and after that the phone will be sent at my home address. I got a shock of my life, in this era of super fast communication micromax takes 30 days for rectification. I said OK and gave the phone. After 20 days when I enquired at the customer care initially he said it will take some more time due to some technical problem at the ware house I followed up with the service center for 10-15 days and the experience was really pathetic. There is a great lack of empathy and professionalism with your staff. (b) They need to be trained, they don't have etiquette's at all. (c) They don't have value for time. After literally begging for the phone it was sent to the service center and not to my home address as committed after 30 days. I collected the device and asked the guy at the service center do I need to check this. He said it is already checked and tested by the quality team. I went home and kept it on charging in the evening and found that it is not getting charged. I changed the battery, charger, electric point bit was of no use. The phone was sowing as charging but the it was not charging. I called the customer care and they asked to submit the phone to the service center again and wait for more 20 days. I was really shocked. They said this is the policy of the company and tis is how it works. I went to the service center the next day and they did not accept the phone saying it is out of warranty. I said my warranty is till 25th Mar'16. They said me the phone that you have received is out of warranty. I called the customer care again and I was informed that it will take 72 hours to resolve the warranty issue. I was really feeling pity because in this electronic world micromax takes 72 hours to send an email for the customer who is already waiting since last 30 days for the replacement phone.

They really like to fool the customer by giving several reason. Will I get my phone or not.

A sincere advice, if you want to survive in this competitive world of smartphone, only advertisements wont work, after sales service matter more that. Also customers are not fools, they do understand the things. Do you think I will recommend Micromax to anybody after this experience.
