[Resolved] Micromax Informatics — Very poor service and unethical behaviour | |||
I had purchased a 32 inches led tv of micromax, two years back. Yesterday it had gone haywire. The screen went complete black while the audio was perfectly fine. I reported the matter to micromax customer care. The person who came for servicing, just switched the tv on and didn't make the cause clear, just said that it would have to be sent to the company service centre at the expense of the consumer. On asking the cost of repair, it again twisted the answer without revealing the cost.Insisting further, he called up someone and made me talk to the person on phone, he told that it would cost nearly rs.12000 to fix. The problem of its damage is still unknown to me. The person who came for servicing asked me for service charge of rs.850 for just switching on my tv. On searching on net i found that new 32 inches led hd tv of microma is of rs.14690. Why will a person spend an amount on repair if a new product is available at the same amount? Is the life of micromax televisions just two years? Was this information helpful? | |||
