I ordered "Micromax Canvas Gold A300" through FlipKart on 1st February
2015. After 1-3 days o[censored]sing, the mobile started lagging and hanged. I had
to reboot it to make the phone and internet work. I ignored the minor
issues as I thought it was a new phone and after sometime it might
work smoothly.
However, its been more than 1 month now that my phone gets switched
off by itself when using. The display picture turns black and the
phone dies after minutes o[censored]sing. And the battery shows 1% or some
percent charged even if I charge it for 2-3 or more hours.
I called up the Micromax Customer care center. They advised me to take
the phone to nearby service center. We showed the phone to a rep at
Hudson Lane GTB Nagar Micromax service center. The rep over there made
excuses that the phone might be dropped or came into water contact
which is all false accusations and lame excuses. The rep checked the
phone and said that there is some short circuit and hence, we need to
pay rupees 4000/- for the repair. Before we showed it to the micromax
service center, the phone was atleast working. After the service
center people checked my phone, its completely dead now. I feel
cheated by Micromax.
We then called up the Micromax customer care again. This time spoke to one
Upesh Diwedi. He told us to write to [protected]@micromaxinfo.com. I wrote
to them as advised. But the Micromax chat/email agent again told me to coordinate with Service
center people. I am going round and round in circle. I am not even asking them full refund or asking them to
take back the phone. All I WANT IS A FREE REPAIR. My mobile phone handset is under 12 months Warranty period.
This is robbery! I dont know what to do.
Please help me with the next step!!
