Micromax — Replaced new handset | |||
I gave my 5 months old mobile ahnset micromax A106 to the service centre for installing kitkat software and mend the speaker of the phone on 16th july, 2015 to nirman vihar service centre of micromax. I received a call from them on 7 th August that my handset is repaired, i can collect it from the service centre. but on reaching the centre i found that they replaced my phone with some other handset, of different EMI no. on further inquiry they told me that my handset was dead while repairing so company has given me the new handset. But so called new handset given to me was not seal packed as it should be, and also the handset was marked for QC, rank 7. the handset seems to be new from outside but also the battery side of the phone seems to be some cheap and low cost assembled product. though after lot of discussions and arguments, they left me with no other option than accepting the unsealed so called new handset. but this is not all, the new handset is not working properly, - after every 2 mins it gets restarts on its own, .-ithangs, even the android.system.ui fails to launch, every single app is not responding. i cant operate this new handset for more than 2 mins as, once i put the battery in it starts this restating cycle of its own.. and it also hangs after every 2 mins and then restarts. this is so irritating, my phone was only 5 months old without any scratch, but i was not supposed to be given such a replacement to my set. I want my own set and properly mend as it is in warranty period. and if in case the company replaces my set, it should be sealed, else i will not accept the handset. giving me a QC_7 marked set was also very offensive. secondly, taking 25 days for resolving one small issue is so irritating. now hoe many months i have to wait for reparing the so called new handset. this sucks, micromax sucks. they put fancy stores all over the city with well trained costumer care executives, but their service centres are hidden in streets that one cant' find them and with untrained irritating executives. The procedure of repairing mobile handsets within warranty is worse. My be i will never step down to micromax again, if it remains same. Was this information helpful? | |||
