[Resolved] MTNL Mumbai — Broadband not working since 12 days. | |||
Hi, My MTNL Broadband hasn't been working for more than 12 days now. I have been registering complaints with the MTNL helpline number to restore the services; but the complaints have been continually closed without any support. Last night I have logged a complaint for the 5th time. Every noon there is a call from the MTNL office \ MTNL personnel. But when checked in the eve the complaint is either not worked on or closed. I made on line complaint about slow working of Internet then one officer from MTNL came to my came told my daughter that cable is installed very far sway from MTNL office to your home that is the reason it is working very slow.That time i was not at home. When i came late night, i shocked to get such information from my daughter regarding officer told reason for slow working.
Once again i got very shocked due to bill amount is raised around more than Rs.1200 per month. I know in market even i[censored]sing unlimited Internet even though i have pay maximum amount Rs.450.
So did not made the payment of bill and also MTNL Department disconnected the Internet connection as well as outgoing calls of Land line.
I Prepared one complaint letter, which was sent though my clerk, , she gone to Sion MTNL office for submission they told go to Matunga MTNL office, When she Gone for submission of complaint letter but dispatch department and the officers name Rs.S. K Hazre, who is sitting in 3rd floor ( Deputy Manager). He was not ready to accept our complaint letter and he said go pay the bill and come we will think about taking back Wireless Box ( Binatone) and we will charge service charges every month even though we have disconnected the Internet connection.
The officer had harassed my clerk (Lady) and told her not to come here submitting any complaint letter and only pay the bill.
I am really shocked due to such kind of negligence officer and he don't want to solve the problem of customer, and he and other staffs were not ready to listen her grievance. Simply said go and make the payment.. She requested many times to at least the accept the letter of complaint. But he was no bother about my complaint letter.
My question is only that
why don't accept the complaint letter ? Why Dispatch department sending my complainant women to 3r floor for accepting the letter? I have right to submit complaint letter with MTNL ? After disconnection of Internet, then how MTNL can charge Service Charges from even after disconnection of Internet. How officer can say, your Internet is working very slow because of cable is very far away from your Home?
i will not make payment of service charges for after disconnection of Internet by MTNL.

The officer Mr. S.K HAZRA (DEPUTY MANAGER) Must be suspended from the duty, his responsible is to accept the complaint the letter and his duty is to written reply for my complaint letter. The Head of the Department must take stern action against him and other staffs. The officer who given reason for slow working, he also must be punished on the negligent and insulting consumers.
My request is that this matter is to be initiated against these irresponsible office staff and must be suspended from the service for negligence part and damaging reputation of Government Sector.
