Mts — False and incomplete information cheat cosumer during data recharge | |||
On 2/8/15, after recharging my MTS mblaze ultra data card ([protected]) with Rs.248 for 1GB data for 30days as claimed and shown on online recharge window (screenshot_1 furnished for reference) only 750mb data has been added up with no extension in validity period. Customer care ([protected]) on being contacted in this regard has said that as per their latest data plan, Rs.248 recharge would only add up 750mb and not 1GB. But, they have failed to provide any substantial proof on this as far as the official website of service provider i.e. MTS is concerned, which shows no information about Rs.248 recharge (ref. screenshot_2) and admitted that there is certain gap in furnishing the latest information on the official website of MTS. Also, no confirmation on when the latest information would be available on website and possibility of zero recurrence of similar phenomena in future was obtained even after a 35minutes long conversation over phone. During the whole conversation, the customer care guys has kept their shy to answer whether consumer could be cheated to follow such wrong information under similar situation while recharging their data card or what step MTS should take to compensate its cheated consumer with such false and incomplete information produced by MTS itself. No complaint docket number has been provided to undersigned. Urge TRAI to put this issue up with due importance for an effective measure.
