Muthoot — Out Dated Cheque from Muthoot Finance Kandivali West Branch, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400067 | |||||
I had received money through EZ CASH from UK for which i got the cheque from MUTHOOT FINANCE "A Wing Rock Enclave, Hindustan Naka, Opposite Union Bank ATM, Sahyadri Nagar, Kandivali West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400067" Cheque received date: 1st Dec 2016. I was given an outdated for (1st Dec 2012) cheque which i did not double check while receiving it as i trusted the capability and proficiency of the employees in not making this kind of mistakes. I deposited the cheque in my bank on 3rd Dec 2016 And waited for 4 days to be cleared But on the 5th day i come to know that the cheque is outdate, so visited the Muthoot Branch and informed them about the mistake they made and asked them to issue a new cheque, but they clearly denied stating that we will give you the new cheque only once you return the old cheque. so i spoke to the branch manager (BHARAT KISHORE SINGH) and told him that the bank will send the outdated cheque to my mailing address by courier and it will 3 to 4 days, and i have emergencies (my wife needs to be operated on the 9th Dec 2016), he said "there is nonthing that i can do you will have to get the cheque and then we will give youa new cheque" I told him there is a mistake from your office employee so you have to solve my issue, he said i agree that the mistake was from their side, but there isnothing that we can do you get the cheque and we will issue you a new cheque. I also told him that I will raise a complain regarding this, in return he said you do what ever you want to do but we will not issue you the cheque until you get the outdated cheque Was this information helpful? | |||||
