I moved to India on March. I connected with Nestaway, Mumbai on March 28th and found an apartment thr same day in Jogeshwari. However the property manager forced me to take another one in Malad saying that the Jogeshwari apartment will get ready only on May. He promised that an internal transfer free of cost will be done for me. So I agreed to move there
On April 21st I got to know from the neighbors that the apartment is getting demolished. When asked Nestaway refused to take responsibility. I moved out and put in a request for a full refund. It's already been a week. Thei keep giving generic chatbot response that the money is with the "recovery team" and "will " "give an update soon" even with the details of the refund they are giving gross misinformation on the charges they deducted for "maintenance".
I've written several emails. No response. They keep asking me to "update" bank details whatever that means.
