Ola Cabs — Double charged - Driver collected money in cash and Ola deducted from Ola Money as well | |||||
I used Ola Cab in Chennai CRN[protected] from Royapettah to Padur (28th Sep 15). There was some issue in the Driver’s Ola aps, he couldn’t generated charges through aps and asked call center to generate receipt. Which was higher than usual bill (charged me for 40km in place of 33km). I paid driver cash of Rs. 1012 and Ola money deducted Rs. 999 for the same trip but reflected on my receipt which I received later in mail. Same driver was waiting for me and charged Rs. 960 (as I got down little early) but still charge was way high. Usually other Cab service could have charged me Rs.[protected] for this trip but I end up in paying around Rs. 3000 to Ola. I lodged a complaint with Ols cabs next day (29th Sep 15) and send 4-5 follow up mails and called their customer service at 33553355 but no resolution so far. They don’t have any tracking management, you need to start from beginning each time, they won’t call you (I doubt if Ola cabs have outbound calling facilities. One day I had two call drop all three time I need to repeat my story without any result. May I request forum to advise me other escalation options and let me know if I can move to Bangalore consumer forum or complain should be in Chennai only as service used in Chennai.
