Ola Money — Making decisions on behalf of customers through OLA Postpaid

I availed the Ola Postpaid services last year. That was the biggest mistake I have made. There was no clarity or transparency from their end that the KYC which they were using was to open a loan account in third party banks, in my case, IDFC bank.

I had applied for a housing loan and the bank told me that I have a loan written off in my CIBIL records and I need to provide a justification as to why the loan was written off. I had to pay for the CIBIL reports, and too my shock I come to know I have a personal loan of 6500 and a loan account in IDFC bank. I contacted the customer team of the bank, and they told me this is by OLA money and if I need the loan deleted from my CIBIL records, the bank needs a written communication from OLA stating the same.

I contacted OLA customer care number, from multiple devices, no response as always. I dropped an email to them, they said they have raised a ticket for it. After one day I get an email that I need to report an issue to another email ID. I report the issue on another email ID, they raise a ticket. I get a response from them that they will consider my complaint only after I mail from my registered email ID. I tried to register my email ID and it is stating that the email ID is already in the system.

This is complete harassment and mental torture that I am suffering from past one week. The worst customer experience from OLA money, they should have never been given the privilege to launch Postpaid services. How can they take a loan in the name of the client, how can they run the loan for a year and let interest accumulate on it and write it off without the knowledge of the customer? Who gave you the authority to make decisions on behalf of the customer?

I had another instance with OLA money and I am glad I have it on record. I got a sms on 5th April 2022 that I have not cleared by OLA money due which was to be paid by 14th April 2022 and hence now I have to pay late fees to it. I mailed the company on the same day that how can you send a message for delay payment for 14th April on 5th April? Of course I got no reply from their complaint team. I paid the interest amount because what choice do I have as a customer? Attaching the screenshot for reference (date of message can be seen). Haven't received a justification for this as well, hoping this is addressed.

Now my home loan is delayed, the possession of my flat is delayed. And I am getting no support from OLA money and IDFC bank to have this record deleted from my CIBIL. As a consumer I feel this is the most fraudulent abuse of customer data. I want OLA to get this record cleared from my CIBIL so I can have my home loan approved and compensate me for the loss of work, loss due to delay possession of my flat and sheer mental agony that I have been going through for the past one week.

Just the same mail forwarded by 3 people with the Copy paste message. This is your way of handling grievances? No address to what I am asking, your customer care number does not work. This is so frustrating.
